6 Top Takeaways of the Global Awareness Study

ThriveDX’s “2022 Global Cybersecurity Awareness Training Study” that I conducted provided some very interesting insights. The following findings are specifically noteworthy:

1. 97% indicated that cybersecurity awareness leads to better corporate security
2. Phishing simulation tied with IT security training as an awareness measure (both 88%)
3. Less than half use a phishing button, which is frightening to me
4. 58% have anchored awareness in their IT strategy
5. Nearly two-thirds of all respondents plan to expand their awareness programs
6. Only a little more than one-third have disciplinary action in place with staff for computer use mistakes.
